This bridge is an excellent example of a concrete rigid-frame bridge. It is noteworthy because it retains original railings, something that is not true for all examples of this bridge type in Illinois. The railings are an attractive concrete balustrade design. The bridge superstructure and substructure also appears to be unaltered.
