This is an attractive three span riveted truss bridge located next to a park in a residential area of Waverly. It has been closed to traffic due to deterioration (likely related to the floorbeams). The overall truss bridge remains in good physical condition and could be rehabilitated. Despite this, the bridge has been at risk for demolition and replacement, despite pleas from area residents for the historic bridge to be preserved instead.
