This is an uncommon example of a relatively short-span riveted steel deck arch bridge, and the only such bridge in Kansas according to KHRI documentation. The bridge appears to be a hingeless design, based on field observations although close, unobstructed study of the skewback (bearing) was not feasible during the field visit.
