This beautiful arch bridge was the replacement for the main highway, originally the National Pike and today US-40, that ran through this area. The former bridge, a stone arch, remains to the north. The bridge has good historic integrity and substantial attention paid to architectural detailing in the design of this bridge makes it an especially attractive example of its type.
