This bridge is an attractive structure with decorative knee bracing. The bridge contains unusual details including sway bracing that is the same design as the portal bracing, and built-up vertical members that include both v-lacing and lattice, a detail that is extremely unusual. Finally, the pin nuts are square shaped which is very unusual as well. The bridge was closed to vehicular traffic, but the arrangement of the barriers show that the current intention is to continue to use the bridge for non-motorized use. The bridge remains in decent condition, and could easily be restored if the interest to do so is there.
