If this bridge were to be a typical bridge crossing a body of water it would be an extremely large concrete arch bridge of very long length. However this bridge is an integral part of the Grand Coulee Dam, with the spans resting on the top of the dam. The Grand Coulee Dam is the largest electric producing facility in the United States and is also one of the largest concrete structures in the world. As a result, the bridge is utterly dwarfed by the shear size of the dam.

This bridge is within sight of a highway bridge, the Grand Coulee Bridge.
