This is a traditionally composed railroad truss bridge, and its use of a through and a pony truss span offers some visual variety to the bridge. It is built on a curve, with the truss spans positioned on the piers accordingly. The bridge abutment at the northern end has a 1966 date while truss spans have 1949 plaques, indicating that in 1966 the abutments were repaired or replaced. Their is a steel stringer span at each end of the bridge.
