Carries a pedestrian path in Pine Creek Park over Pine Creek
Design: truss/pony/pratt
Design Details: As per http://www.past-inc.org/historic-bridges/metal-pinecreek.html:
Its compression members are octagonal columns patented by the Keystone Bridge Company of Pittsburgh. The Keystone column consists of four rolled segments riveted together through cylindrical spacers. Because the spacers are graduated in length, the columns are thicker in the middle than at the ends. According to the company, this gap allowed the interior of the column to be inspected; in some of their bridges, the gap was used to allow diagonal tie rods to pass through the uprights without the need for special fixtures. Principally, however, the gap represented an easy way to make a tapered wrought-iron column that was similar to the cast-iron columns the company had used in bridges like Riverside Avenue.

Water World Over The Merritt
Metro North's "Water World" traverses over the Merritt Parkway on the New Canaan Branch. This bridge is one of several uniquely designed bridges constructed by the Connecticut State Highway Department in the 1930s to cross the parkway. "Water World" is Metro North's rail washer tasked with spraying leaf residue off the rails throughout the electrified territory, mainly the Harlem & New Haven Lines. This Water World set consists of a Cab Car, Sprayer Car (flatcar), 2 water tanks and a BL20GHM for power.

Harbor Rd bridge 1
The more than 50-year-old timber-and-pile wooden bridge on Harbor Road leading to Saugatuck Shores – heavily damaged by Hurricane Sandy—will be replaced, Westport’s congressional delegation announced today. An announcement said funding will come from a $1,302,225 Pre-Disaster Mitigation grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) – 75 percent of the cost—supplemented by state funds. The new bridge will be a galvanized truss bridge with an open grate deck rated for emergency vehicle and heavy equipment loads, the announcement said.
