Local residents call this the "Two Arch Bridge." This bridge is an extremely rare example of a plate girder that is not only a variable depth girder, but in fact has a uniformly curved top chord. This design is exceedingly rare in North America, although it can be found in greater numbers elsewhere in the world, particularly Europe. An example is shown below.
