This bridge is not very attractive looking because its original railings have been replaced with New Jersey barriers, but anyone who takes the trouble to get underneath the bridge will find that the bridge is an unusual and short example of a curved t-beam. Constructed in 1926, it is also among the earliest examples of a curved t-beam in Michigan.
