Learn about Michigan's Unique Concrete Camelback Bridges

This bridge is a good example of a 60 foot concrete camelback bridge in Michigan. It is noted for its lack of deterioration. Perhaps because of its rural location where it sees less traffic and little corrosive winter deicing salts, the bridge remains in good condition, something shared with a number of surviving U.P. concrete camelback bridges. The bridge's good condition makes it a good long-term preservation candidate. The bridge is also noted for its noteworthy 45 degree skew.
