This bridge was demolished and replaced in 2010!

Michigan had a couple different standard plan straight chord through girders that it built during the late 1910s and into the 1920s. The style of girder bridge seen here is the style that is a little more massive, and tends to date to the 1920s over the late 1910s. Of this style, this is one of the few remaining multi-span examples of the design.

It retains excellent historic integrity with minimal spalling of concrete, and retains a plaque. This bridge, along with its single span brother just to the south, should have been considered for preservation.
