Bridge Documentation

This is one of the only known surviving examples of a bridge built by Chicago Bridge and Iron with a unique portal bracing. This bridge originally crossed Sandy Creek on Survey Road (CR 489) (coordinates: 33.73839, -96.94500). It was relocated and preserved for pedestrian use in this location in 2004. The only other known bridge with this portal bracing style is in Minnesota.
