This bridge is a three span warren pony truss with riveted connections, composed of one main span and a shorter approach span at each end. There is also an additional stringer approach at the south end of the bridge. The approach structures sit at a slight incline, something not commonly seen with other small metal truss bridges. Wooden railings are present on the bridge, which may have be a replacement for pole railings similar to those seen on the other Noble County railroad overpass bridges. The bridge is seated on concrete abutments, and the main span is supported by steel bent supports. A wooden pile support is present at the extra approach span. V-lacing is present on the diagonals and on the bottom chord, as well as on the supports. V-lacing was not present on the truss supports of the other Noble County truss bridges that are similar to this one. This bridge is posted for a five ton weight limit. A 15 degree skew was listed for this bridge, which as a slight skew was not easily visible, except when viewed from the tracks.
This rail line and its historic overpasses make an excellent spot for railfans to shoot photos of the extremely frequent rail traffic on this line with an attractive bridge in the foreground.

Statement of Significance
A number of features distinguish this bridge: the use of some pin connections, the absence of verticals, and the design of the endposts and top chords. The undecorated trusses retain their integrity, although the timber approach is an addition to the original structure.
Timber abutments and crafted I beam steel piers support this somewhat skewed, three-span Warren pony truss and a timber beam approach. The partly-riveted and partly-pinned structure extends 129' in two triple and one quadruple panel spans. The top chords and endposts of the trusses are fabricated from a pair of heavy angles and cover plate and verticals were omitted from the trusses. The I floor beams are U-bolted to gusset pins below the lower chord and carry the timber deck with its 16' roadway.
ALTERATIONS: The timber approach is an addition to the original structure.
