Inscription on endposts
The next three pics were rather difficult to come by as the inscriptions were covered by bolts and therefore partially unlegible. However, after revealing that they all said the same thing OLIVER, the next question which requires further research and inquiries is what is OLIVER (Steel company?) and where was it located. That question has not been answered yet.

Former piers
Another feature that remains a mystery are the wooden piers located next to the bridge. Could this be that a wooden trestle bridge once stood here before the truss bridge replaced it?

Enclosed neighborhood next to the bridge
Note: It is forbidden to enter this property to photograph the bridge and this is proven by the Dobermans that guard the area. Best spots after this are on the bridge and from the bridge carrying the county road located just north of this truss bridge.
