Overview (Looking West)
There is more to this bridge than meets the eye.
Photo taken by James McCray
241536
Deck View
The railing length on the southern face is longer due to the building which connects to the bridge on the northeastern side. The northern face railing is cut short.
Photo taken by James McCray
241537
Southern Face of Bridge
One can see in the photo that there is an older stone arch structure underneath the concrete facade of the bridge. One can surmise that in 1935 the bridge was rehabbed and widened using the concrete portions which overlay the existing stone structure.

Railing Detail (Northeast End of Bridge)
You can see that the original railing has been cut off. The "Own Your Own" building was built adjacent to the bridge and so where it meets the bridge the railing was removed. What is interesting about the building is that it is built in a way that it also crosses the creek.

241548
Decorative Lamp Post (Northern Face)
The Bridge's railing, like the southern side, once connected to the lamp post. However now it is its own entity.

Looking South (Northern Face of Bridge
One can see the interesting features of the bridge here. The "Own Your Own" Building crosses above the creek and abuts the northeastern half of the bridge. The rest of the bridge consists of the newer concrete structure which overlays the older stone structure.
