View of Jack-arch deck under bridge, looking north
I returned to this bridge, and dangled my phone under it with a "selfie stick" to get this image of the floorbeam system underneath. The large beam in this photo is perpendicular to the large side beams that support the whole bridge. The bolts in the previous photo are where this beam and its counterparts connect to the girders. Interesting and apparently rare jack-arch deck structure.

Before and After photos along Wonderland Creek with bridge in background
This next series of photos is down along Iris Avenue near where we had to purchase and demolish that single-family residence. This is actually near where the Bolder Boulder used to start many years ago before it was moved near the 29th Street Mall. The before photo shows a creek that was perhaps two feet wide, and the after photo shows the deepened and widened creek, with a boulder drop structure providing stability.
