Also a view across the Mazon River to the farm fields beyond. I-55 is almost visible in the distance (If you look closely you can see two semi trucks), and you could certainly hear its traffic from here at the bridge.

While I was inspecting the Jugtown Bridge, this bald eagle was inspecting me from a nearby tree. Then it flew majestically across a farm field. Its nest may be along the Mazon River.
