Bridge Site
This is where the bridge used to be. The bridge was removed in the late 80s but the rr cut still existed at that time. Through the 90s, there was no way to cross the cut at this location. You had to go west 1 mile then north. At some point, the cut was filled at this location allowing the road to continue north.

Looking west from bridge location.
Just looks like a ditch now but this is the cut that the RR used to pass through. I remember standing on the bridge as a train passed underneath and feeling the hot puff of exhaust.

Looking east from the bridge location
This is the cut on the east side of the road. If you follow the old RR road bed from this location for roughly 2 miles, you would end up at the high bridge over the Little Sioux River.
