Bridge just east of Moulton Yard crossing Hwy 202.jpg
RR running underneath the bridges is the current BNSF main. The first bridge in this view is the old Southern IA Ry. bridge; the Wabash bridge is behind it. This has to be a pre-1900 postcard, as the timber bridge was replaced by a through-plate girder in 1900, which in turn was replaced by APNC Bridge 10 (replaced 2012).

Looking east down the old ROW through the old bridge. In the background is the Cargill rail yard that was built over the remains of the former UP/CNW/MStL tracks. Union Pacific formerly used these rails to deliver cars to Albia for interchange with the BNSF. However, Cargill built their own line south from the plant to the BNSF mainline in the early 2000s, in an effort to allow BNSF direct access to the plant and get better freight rates. This led to the abandonment and removal of the UP Eddyville to Albia segment.
