O:Sulfur Lake XING 1
This bridge is all that is left of the three bridge consortium consisting of a concrete girder bridge spanning a railroad, this bridge, and a combination Parker through truss and two Warren pony truss bridge over the Minnesota River. The first was converted into a tunnel and the third was removed when the highway was bypassed and the new Minnesota and Sulfur Lake Crossings were constructed in 1996-7. More info on the Minnesota Crossing is available here: http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/D?hh:6:./temp/~ammem_kilE::
