Western (St. Charles side) trellis span colapsed
1879 Nov 8, the western trellis through truss gave way as an eastbound livestock train was crossing. It appears there are two people standing in the portal of the next trellis truss, and one standing at the end of the deck truss as well as the two in the foreground. This image came from a stereoscopic view. I extracted one image, converted it to greyscale, and slightly cleaned it.
