In this historic view, the bridge has completely open sides, and its roof has been damaged by a minor fire, but it is still open to traffic. This picture was found in old family photos, taken on Kodachrome color slide film by my father. The identify of the bridge in this photo was confirmed by the sign to "Passaconaway" pointing across the bridge.
