Design Details: The Tualatin River Bridge is a 150-foot steel Warren deck truss crossing the Tualatin River near King City, Oregon. The bridge has nine 40-foot reinforced concrete deck girder approach spans, four on the south approach and five on the north.
The bridge features many of the standard details used by the Oregon State Highway Department during the tenure of State Bridge Engineer Conde B. McCullough. The concrete approach spans feature brush hammered inset panels on the girders, and curved architectural sidewalk floorbeams.
