This is the railroad bridge that is visible from Route 42 (Rupert Drive) near Bloomsburg Pennsylvania. There is absolutely no parking available on Rupert Drive in this area. Rupert Drive (Route 42) is a fairly narrow two lane road with railroad tracks running parallel on one side, and a mountain on the other side. I accessed this bridge from the Indian Head Campground at 340 Reading Street in Bloomsburg. There are three cabooses parked on this bridge. A pathway from the campground leads under this bridge, then up to the railroad tracks. These tracks lead to the big Reading Rail Road bridge over the Susquehanna River. Both ends of this bridge are fenced off, and it is obviously private property.

Reading R.R. bridge, Bloomsburg Pennsylvania
This is the railroad bridge that is visible from Route 42 (Rupert Drive) near Bloomsburg Pennsylvania. There is absolutely no parking available on Rupert Drive in this area. It is a fairly narrow two lane road with railroad tracks running parallel on one side, and a mountain on the other side.

Reading Railrod bridge over the Susquehanna.
This is the railroad bridge that is visible about 3/4 of a mile north of the Route 42 highway bridge in Catawissa Pennsylvania. It is difficult to get a good photo of this bridge due to heavy vegetation on both sides of the river (at least in the month of July). I parked near the baseball diamond on North 1st Street in Catawissa (this is very close to the Catawissa Road and Caboose Rentals). I walked about a half mile along the active railroad tracks on the east side of the river to get to this bridge. I later learned that this bridge is much closer to the Indian Head Campground at 340 Reading Street Bloomsburg Pa. (on the west side of the river).
