Bridge is a 21-span series of identical riveted Camelback pony truss spans, each with a span length of 102 feet. It is the only vehicular Camelback truss surviving on a state highway in Texas.
The bridge has an unusual bearing detail in which back-to-back fixed bearings on adjacent spans are combined into a single fixed bearing serving both spans.
