Tropical Storm Michael Aftermath
"Michael did extensive damage to Southside Virginia this past week. The Ringgold Rail Trail (Richmond & Danville Rail Trail) didn't escape his fury. This stone bridge over Sandy Creek lost its center arch. The bridge was built as best as I can tell in the 1850's. There is also a 150 yard stretch of line along an old millpond in Sutherlin that was destroyed."
