Barrel Shot Looking West
Typical of C&NW bridge construction of the late 19th and early 20th Centuries, this bridge has sandstone abutments. My suspicion is that these abutments held a different bridge until this plate girder deck span was built here ca. 1929. The abutments appear to be related to the C&NW bridge in Humbird just a few miles down the tracks from here.

It appears that this bridge might have carried a dual track at one time, much like the two spans of the C&NW bridge in Humbird.
