A rare example of a Luten arch bridge in Arkansas, this one was built by an in-state contractor. Named the Luten Bridge Company, this Little Rock Company was one of several independent contractors that had purchased rights to Daniel Luten's patented arch bridge designs. A number of companies were named Luten Bridge Company or similar across the country, while other companies that had patent rights chose to use other company names.
This bridge retains good historic integrity.
