This is a small beam bridge that was built in 1920 according to the Michigan Historic Bridge Inventory. Although this is a small bridge with limited significance, it features an unusual railing design does not show up much outside of St. Clair County bridges like Braidwood Road but is also found in Ingham County, although some Ingham County examples vary slightly. This bridge shows that this railing design does in fact appear outside of that county however. The bridge also has excellent historic integrity, with original railings, and not even any modern railings on the approach. The bridge sits on concrete abutments, and the steel beams have rusted a bit and are in need of painting. A 42-64-77 ton weight limit sign was posted for the bridge.
