The bridge consists of a movable through truss swing span and a fixed through truss swing span. Both the historic and structural integrity of the bridge appears to be good, with no major alterations to the original design and materials noted.
The road leading up to this bridge appears to be public, but the bridge is posted as private property and the north end of the bridge had a gated checkpoint with a security guard posted. The bridge is located in the middle of nowhere with nothing but farmland apparent around the bridge, so the hardcore security is a bit unexpected. The good news is that nice views of the bridge can be had from the public road leading to the bridge.
