This bridge carried what was originally Greenback Lane over a canal that provided water to the Folsom Powerhouse, which is today converted into a park and is a National Historic Landmark. This bridge does not date to the construction of the powerhouse, but still adds to the historic ambience of the park setting. Additionally, it is associated with engineer Drury D. Butler who is associated with several concrete bridges in the area. HistoricBridges.org was not able to get under the bridge but it is assumed to be a concrete t-beam bridge.
