This bridge was relocated to this location in 1907. It was a reused span from Bridge 124 on Baltimore and Ohio's Wheeling Division. The date of construction is therefore unknown. The unusual design details of this bridge and relatively lightweight members suggest a late 1870s or early 1880s railroad bridge. The bridge is skewed which is rare for a bridge this old, and an unusual detail of the skew is that the hip vertical member on one side is not vertical, it is inclined slightly. Other unusual details include the connection details of the sway bracing, with part of the bracing attached via a cast iron block alongside the top chord, with a second section mounted on top of the top chord.
A couple vertical members on the bridge were repaired with additional steel added, however these repairs look very old as lacing bars and rivets were part of the repairs. Restoration work of an unknown scope took place in 2005.
