This bridge has a concrete arch superstructure that is of traditional design for a foot bridge. The deck has a substantial camber (arched) design to it, and the first part is even stepped to accommodate this design. The bridge has wooden railings that are unusual and have a design that is Japanese-like. The decorative portal gateways also show this influence. The bridge is apparently locally known as the Japanese Bridge and was built to lead to Japanese gardens in the park.
