This bridge is an unaltered example of a steel stringer bridge with a construction date listed as 1920. The bridge retains original solid concrete paneled railings. The bridge is an example of what this long-lived, basic, and common structure type looked like long ago. The typical revelation is that the railings are the most visually notable feature of the bridge and the only substantial clue as to the bridge's age. However a closer look at the American Standard Beam design and the Bethlehem Steel brand on the steel are additional aspects of this bridge that would not be found on a modern bridge of this type.
This bridge's stone abutments may be originally from a previous bridge.
