This bridge is a seven panel structure, and has been abandoned for many years. The bridge retains good historic integrity, although it is unclear if the concrete deck is original. The original deck would have been wood, if the concrete deck is not original. The bridge's bottom chord and bottom chord connections are in very poor condition. However, this bridge is still restorable. As Lagrange County has one of the fewest numbers of historic bridges of any county in Indiana the preservation of this bridge is essentially, and the local significance of this bridge is about as high as it can go. Since, not only is this the last historic bridge, as a pin-connected through truss bridge, this structure would be noteworthy anywhere.
