This eight panel pin-connected through truss has a main span of 156 feet making it one of the longest pin-connected Pratt spans in the state. As a later example of a pin-connected truss bridge, it is traditionally composed, representing the standardization in bridge parts and overall design that had firmly taken root by the early 20th Century. That said, the orientation and tightness of the v-lacing of the truss is different from what the majority of this type of bridge display. The tight v-lacing is a function of a stronger beam which is a function of a later example of a pin-connected truss bridge. The bridge also includes two steel stringer approach spans. There are also caisson (lally column) piers present on the bridge. Original hub guard style lattice railing remains present on both the main and approach spans. The bridge appears to retain good historic integrity with no alterations to the superstructure noted, although the abutments may have been repaired at some point.
