Low Water Crossing bridges are designed to allow floodwaters to safely flow over the bridge deck and as such usually without railing. Privately owned toll bridges are uncommon to begin with, but it is truly remarkable to find such a small and simple type of bridge remaining today as a privately owned and tolled crossing.
