The lack of lattice and v-lacing in its members and also its fairly massive size of its members, initially seem to suggest that the bridge is newer. However, according to the National Bridge Inventory, this bridge dates to 1909 and having stood for over a century, this bridge is a noteworthy example of a medium size deck truss. The deck and deck stringers have been replaced, but the floorbeams are original.
