This bridge is one of two railroad swing bridges in Bay City. This bridge is of lighter weight construction than the other swing bridge in the city, and it may be older as well. The bridge contains a traditionally composed swing span as well as four five panel fixed through truss approach spans. The bridge is surrounded by industrial properties and can be hard to get up close to without a boat.
