This is an attractive stone arch bridge that today has a trail running under it, making it easy to visit. It was built at the same time as the nearby highway overpass stone arch bridge.
Reportedly, this line is owned by MDOT (yes Michigan's highway department does own railroads as weird as that may seem). It is unclear if that means this historic bridge is at greater or less demolition risk than if a private railroad company owned it.
