One of the most unusual steel stringer bridges in Michigan, this bridge was built right over an intersection, and its also noted for its unaltered truss bridge style railings. The railings on this bridge were most commonly used as state highway truss bridge railings. They were (for unclear reasons) sometimes used on steel stringer bridges as well instead of the more common R4 railings most commonly associated with steel stringers from this period in Michigan.
The edges of the bridge are curved. Special shorter steel beams at the corners of this bridge give it this curved design.
