Bridge Status: This bridge is closed to pedestrians and is likely slated for demolition under the I-94 reconstruction project!

This pedestrian overpass is noted for retaining original R4 railing on the spiral ramp approach on the bridge's southern end. The bridge would have had R4 railing all the way across originally, but all known pedestrian overpasses in Detroit which once had R4 railing appear to have had that railing removed. This this altered bridge is one of the last known remanants of R4 railing on an expressway overpass in Detroit. USS (US Steel) brands were visible on the steel.
