This small steel stringer is noted for its railings that resemble those used on state highway truss bridges. They were (for unclear reasons) sometimes used on steel stringer bridges as well instead of the more common R4 railings most commonly associated with steel stringers from this period in Michigan. Sadly, modern Armco guardrail has been added to this bridge, obscuring the original railing.
