This is a pair of bridges that carries M-47 over US-10. Both highways are limited access (expressway) highways and these bridges facilitate the interchange. M-47 ends at this interchange although the layout of the M-47 lanes shows that the original intent was to continue M-47 north of US-10. The bridges are noteworthy because nearly all bridges carrying limited access highways that originally had Michigan's decorative Type R4 railings have had those replaced with ugly New Jersey barriers. This pair of overpasses however retains original railings with only Armco guardrails added.
