This railroad overpass bridge, one of three in this area, was built as part of one of Michigan's earliest freeways. The three bridges are not identical and offer an interesting comparison to how different railroad crossings had slightly different design bridges. Number of tracks and possibly requirements from the railroad company, may have influenced individual bridge design. This bridge consists of two girder lines and was designed for one set of tracks. This bridge is abandoned.
