This bridge is a very small concrete arch bridge. With a construction date of 1904, it is a relatively early surviving concrete arch bridge. The arch itself is small and unornamented. Unexpected on a concrete arch bridge, the bridge has ornate metal railings... the sort of thing more common on 19th century metal truss bridges. It is not known if these railings were manufactured for this bridge or if perhaps they were salvaged and reused on this bridge from another bridge (like a truss bridge). The railings are partially encased in concrete at the base. All in all, it seems more like a situation where the railings were reused here. Normally concrete arch bridges would have concrete railings, or sometimes metal pipe railings.
