This bridge is located in a region with few surviving metal truss bridges. However, this bridge would be noteworthy anywhere as a multi-span pin-connected Parker highway truss bridge. Montana used to have a lot of large (yet often lightweight) pin-connected Parker and Pennsylvania truss bridges. A lot of them have been demolished or collapsed however, increasing the rarity of this bridge and its smaller spans. This bridge is an attractive looking bridge with its arch-like Parker truss spans. Its historic significance has been recognized with an interpretive sign posted at the end of the bridge.
