This bridge is a concrete arch bridge that was faced with stone on the spandrel walls to make it look like a stone arch bridge. Look under the bridge to see the concrete arch of the bridge. The bridge is well maintained and in good condition. There is a bit of a mystery under the bridge. The eastern side of the bridge has a concrete arch that appears older than the western side. This would suggest that that the bridge was widened at some point, and the original stones were simply reinstalled on this western side, so the bridge continues to have the same general appearance. However the abutment that this "new half" sits on has a concrete ledge below the arch spring line, and this concrete looks older, which adds an element of mystery to the bridge's story.
