This bridge is newer than most of the New Yoirk Central's triple-truss bridges across the state, as it was built as part of a line re-location project around the south side of batavia. It was around 1955. The bridge was included in a relocation and grade crossing elimination project, which had several other bridges included. The job was let in 1955, but the exact completion date is not known. As such a 1956 completion date for this bridge is assumed. Other bridges on this section of railroad have Bethlehem Steel plaques, which may suggest Bethlehem built this bridge too.
